What is the Maker-in-Residence program?

This exciting program pairs skilled makers with undergraduate students interested in learning how to dream, design, and build. In Fall 2015, the first Maker-In-Residence led a telescope build program [video] and the Spring 2016 program focused on musical circuits.

Our Fall Maker-in-Residence capstone event will be held on November 18th in the Murray makerspace.  For more information, click on our capstone post: https://makerinresidence.web.unc.edu/2016/11/maker-in-residence-capstone-event/

Interested in the Spring 2017 Maker-in-Residence project? Sign-up to be notified when the application goes live.

We encourage you to explore the BeAM network and the student making group MakNet for other ways to get involved.
